"How long does the UV bulb itself last?"

It is recommended to replace the bulb every 12 months. The bulb will last a lot longer than that, however its capacity for neutralizing microbes diminishes after that length of time.

"I just installed a new filter cartridge but my water is still cloudy?"

After you install a new filter, you should run it for a few minutes. Generally, cloudy water indicates air in the line and this is normal with cartridge replacement. Air will enter the house, lines and cartridge. Run your water for a few minutes and the cloudy conditions will go away.
