Job Summary

As a Commercial HVAC Install Mechanic, you will play a key role in installing and retrofitting HVAC systems for our commercial clients. You’ll work alongside a team of professionals to deliver high-quality installations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units (5–100 tons), split systems, ductless, and VRF systems
• Perform system retrofits and replacements
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings
• Fabricate and install sheet metal components
• Safely use, maintain, and care for tools and equipment
• Complete installations using proper methods (bolting, hanging, soldering, brazing, etc.)
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or on a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• EPA (CFC) Certification preferred
• Trade school or apprenticeship training preferred
• Journeyman or Master license is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Willingness to work occasional overtime or extended hours as needed

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands and arms, climb or balance, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
