It’s with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to one of our longest-serving employees. Our commercial special projects supervisor, Bruce Allsop, is retiring after 43 years of service with James River Air.
For many years now, Bruce has managed our commercial equipment replacement jobs. He’s been a link between the engineers and supervisors that design the projects and the technicians that complete the actual install. Whether you needed help designing the best solution for a client, assistance on the job site putting the equipment in, or troubleshooting on difficult circumstances, Bruce was your guy.
Bruce worked with the founder, Hugh E. Joyce, during his time leading the company and has always demonstrated the great qualities that Hugh, Sr. taught his employees.
We wish Bruce the best, and thank him for his many years of service! His wife, Mary, also a long-time employee, still works with James River, so we’re sure we’ll still see plenty of him around!
